Please note: Due to the current pandemic, we have canceled the 2020 mixed-media art retreat. We are leaving this information here so you can see what we might offer in the future.

Registration and Payment

The registration form will be available soon. Once it is, you’ll download it, fill it out, and email it to us. We’ll invoice you for the payment. Your payment secures your place.


You will receive an auto confirmation email after making your payment online. The Art Gypsies will make contact with attendees at least 3 weeks prior to the retreat.


We know that situations can sometimes arise, causing a change in your plans. It is not possible for us to favor an individual situation or circumstance over another, so we must maintain a standard business policy for all and with no exceptions.

  • Prior to April 1—Full Refund less administration charge of $99
  • After April 1—No Refunds

You may transfer your full registration to another person, but you must notify us with the new name and email. In the case of Acts of God, war, disaster or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat.

The Art Gypsies reserve the right to cancel the retreat if it does not meet minimum student registration. In this event, you will receive a full refund of the monies paid for the canceled retreat. The Art Gypsies reserve the right to limit or restrict attendance to any person, business, or representative thereof.

We highly recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance as life has a way of changing our plans. You can find info on these links:

Registration includes dinner on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; breakfast on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; and lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Meals are vegetarian, delicious, and contain lots of protein so we have vim and vigor for our work and play. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions on the registration form.


By attending the art retreat, you grant the New Mexico Art Gypsies permission to use your likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. You irrevocably authorize the New Mexico Art Gypsies to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, you waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein your likeness appears. Additionally, you waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. You hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the New Mexico Art Gypsies from all claims, demands, and causes of action that you, your heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on your behalf or on behalf of your estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.


Attendees assume all risk of property damage, personal harm, illness, or injury relating to or resulting from their participating in all workshops and activities. Attendees forever release the New Mexico Art Gypsies, Leaping Deer Ranch, any affiliated organizations, and their respective directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, and representatives (collectively “releasees”) from any and all actions, claims, or demands that they, their assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse, and legal representatives now have, or may have in the future, for injury, death, or property damage, related to (i) participation in these activities, (ii) the negligence or other acts, whether directly connected to these activities or not, and however caused, by any releasee, or (iii) the condition of the premises where these activities occur, whether or not the attendee participated in the activities. Attendees also agree that they, their assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, next of kin, spouse, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of any releasee in connection with any of the matters covered by the foregoing release.

Registering confirms that the attendee has read, acknowledges, and agrees to all policies and regulations as listed above.
