The Project: April 2019 (previous art retreat)
Our Spring 2019 mixed-media art retreat was at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa in Northern New Mexico.
The project we worked on over the three days of the retreat was “Mapping Our Journey,” which consisted of a book housed in a box.

We drew from our environment—the beautiful Ojo Caliente Spa and Resort—to gather materials for our artist’s book/art journal and box. We used many techniques to create beautiful pages. Each person’s book in a box did not look exactly like anyone else’s book in a box.

A sweet spot in the backyard where we’d gather to enjoy the outdoors.
Ready for an artist to sit.
